Marcelo Marianoff
Rafi Ziv is a renowned Israeli choreographer, recognized for his significant contribution to Israeli folk dance. Active since the 1990s, he has gained an international reputation for his dynamic and innovative choreographies, as well as his infectious energy on the dance floor.
Rafi Ziv is known for his boundless enthusiasm and ever-present smile, which have earned him a special place in the hearts of dance fans. When leading dance sessions, he is renowned for his ability to create an electrifying atmosphere, blending lively music with expressive movements. He also organizes dance marathons, introducing unique choreographies.
Born in Córdoba, Argentina, MARCELO MARIANOFF showed a passion for dance from a very young age. His journey in Israeli dance began at the age of 5, and over the years he perfected his skills. He is internationally recognized for his dynamism, passion, and commitment to transmitting Jewish culture through dance. Marcelo Marianoff leads workshops, camps, and Israeli folk dance festivals around the world. He is appreciated for his contagious energy and his teaching skills.
This will be his first time in Belgium !
If one of the instructors is exceptionally absent, the other will take over responsibility for the internship.
Who are we?
Sophie & Martial, dancers since childhood and leaders of the Israeli Folk Dances – Brussels group, have been dancing and teaching every week in Brussels since 2009.
To celebrate 15 years of collaboration, we wanted to mark the occasion by organizing our very first Israeli dance workshop with teachers we truly admire… And here we are...

Dance level
The workshop is not suitable for beginners: a minimum intermediate level is required.
The place
Room for 4 people. Bed linen included. Shower room, washbasin area, and separate toilet in the room.

Your registration will be confirmed upon receipt of a €150 deposit, applicable to all rates.
If you cancel before January 1, 2026, 50% of the deposit will be retained until the final settlement.
If you cancel on or after January 1, 2026, 100% of the deposit will be retained until the final settlement.

The classes will take place in two parallel groups, divided between the ‘dance hall’ and the ‘main hall.’Â
In the dance hall, only clean indoor shoes reserved exclusively for indoor use will be allowed.
