1963 Restoration

Check out the Belmont Blog of the current restoration of the 1963 20' Luxury Day Cruiser owned by Alan & Liz Wardsworth in Spokane Valley, WA. This project was started 4/21/2020. Alan, a High School teacher at Central Valley High School and former woodworking, metals, and automotive teacher, became involved in wooden boats when CVHS moved away from SkillsUSA - First Robotics to a student partnership with the Inland Empire Classic Boat Society. The focus was to restore a 1959 Chris Craft Ski boat with current construction teacher Ron Beard. The project was so much fun meeting new people and learning about marine construction techniques it was only a matter of time before Alan jumped in the deep end.
