This document serves as “Class of 1974 Information Package” 


The intent of the reunion is simply to bring old friends from the Belmont High School Class of 1974 together on the 28th and 29th of June 2024 for the always fun time of explaining what you have been doing for the past 50 years.

Event 1 (28jun24) the Meet & Greet

Note: In order to attend you must register and prepay (so we can organize food)

This Friday night event is a casual dress Meet & Greet

It will run from 6pm to 10pm in the ‘new’ Belmont High School lobby at 3041 Langford Lake Rd, Langford, BC

The cost to attend is $50, it covers the Meet & Greet venue rental as well as the hors d’oeuvers costs

There will be a separate cash bar, so remember to bring cash

Parking is available and free

If you have any school pictures from your time at Belmont please share, i.e. send us copies!

There may be a possibility of a school tour


Event 2 (29jun24) the Picnic

This is a come and go, ultra casual “field party”, so bring everything that you would normally bring for a picnic in a field

There will be a few barbeques, but maybe not enough.  If you are local and have a portable barbeque that you can bring, let us know

If anyone has a connection with a portable toilet company, let us know (depending on the numbers we may need to rent)

The event will run from 11am onwards at 1000 Springboard Place (aka Derek’s place on 1000 Brock Ave)

There is no cost to this event

Parking is available and free


Keep in mind only you can make this reunion happen.  For us to organize the Meet & Greet we need you to help contact friends from the class of 1974 (have a look at Events - Who (google.com)) and encourage them to RSVP or register in advance.  

Finally, please help us to identify those who have sadly passed away.
