1 medium cucumber
1 lemon
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
A handful of fresh mint leaves
2 cups of water
A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Prepare the Ingredients:
Peel and slice the cucumber.
Slice the lemon into thin rounds.
Grate the ginger if not already done.
Combine in a Jar:
In a large jar or pitcher, add the cucumber slices, lemon slices, grated ginger, and mint leaves.
Add Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey:
Pour in the apple cider vinegar. If you prefer a sweeter drink, add honey and stir well.
Add Water:
Pour 2 cups of water into the jar, ensuring all ingredients are submerged.
Let it Infuse:
Cover the jar and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 2-4 hours, or overnight if possible. This allows the flavors to infuse thoroughly.
Optional: Add Cayenne Pepper:
If you like a little kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to your drink before consuming.
Serve:
Pour the infused water into a glass, straining out the solid ingredients if you prefer a smoother drink.
Drink Regularly:
For best results, drink one glass in the morning on an empty stomach and another before bed.
