November 12, 2026: Clinicians interested in the Bellow Scholar Program participate in the Prospective Bellow Scholars Workshop. Register here.
Friday, December 4, 2026: Bellow Scholar Project Proposals Due (send to bellowscholarprogram@gmail.com).
January 2027: 2027-2028 Bellow Scholars announced.
May 2-5, 2027: Scholars present project proposal at 2027 AALS Clinical Conference, Chicago.
June 15, 2027: Scholars submit abstract for Clinical Law Review Writer’s Workshop (held in late September/early October) at NYU Law.
Late August/Early September, 2027: Scholars submit work-in-progress for presentation at the Clinical Law Review Writer’s Workshop.
Clinical Law Review Writer's Workshop: Scholars present work-in-progress during two days in New York, at: Bellow Scholars Workshop (Day 1) and Clinical Law Review Writer’s Workshop (Day 2) at NYU Law.
Late April/Early May 2028: Scholars present research, draft paper, or progress report at the AALS Clinical Conference (new co-chair begins two-year term, ending May 2030).
Fall 2028: Scholars present at final Bellow Scholar Workshop to an audience of past Scholars, other researchers and clinicians, and prospective Scholars.
Ongoing: After their initial two-year cohort term, Scholars continue to actively participate in the rich intellectual work of the Bellow Scholars Committee, such as selecting future Scholars, planning the Bellow Scholar Workshop, attending events, mentoring prospective and future Scholars, or serving as a Bellow Scholar Committee co-chair.
