The purpose of the Bellingham Club of MA is to promote the knowledge and love of gardening in the community. We are a public charity 509 (a) 2 organization. Your donations are tax deductible. We also wish to share the advantages of association by means of educational meetings, classes, workshops, correspondence, and publications to restore, improve and protect the quality of the environment and to promote the beautification our community. If you would like to make a donation, please contact our Treasurer or send a check payable to: Bellingham Garden Club of MA. and mail to: BGCM- P.O. Box 223, Franklin, MA 02038. We will give you a receipt for your tax deductible donations.
You can also help to build up our internal community through improvements, enhancement, awareness and event planning. Membership benefits: Workshops/Classes are FREE, digital bulletin access, savings on special events, invites to Members Only events, member networking, garden expertise advice, member meeting access, community enhancement and more.
If you would like to get to know our some of our Members, join us for our Annual Plant Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, May 7th, 2022 from 10:00 - 1:00 pm @ 40 Blackstone Street, Bellingham, MA.
On June 11, 2022, The Bellingham Garden Club members support the work at the Bellingham Community Garden (BCG) in helping to beautify the growing space and a made a generous donation of flowers and purchasing of cement blocks for the New Garden Shed in June.
As a member, you will have the chance to garden for a purpose through external community service and beautification projects. Membership also provides an opportunity to learn from others with gardening experience and pass along your know-how to successive generations of growers.
Our events like our Annual Plant Sale funds go to fund our club, beautify community growing spaces including our Farm Stand, continue to support our donations to local charities addressing food insecurity, support education programs, offer speakers/workshops & education to our members and other guests.
