Join us for a beautiful morning in nature as we come together to celebrate and welcome the new trees next to Bellingham Play Park.
Date: Saturday 28 March
Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 noon
Location: Selworthy Road entrance to Bellingham Play Park, Waterlink Way
Before the official tree welcoming, enjoy free, fun and educational activities for all ages:
- Tree inspired arts & crafts with Katy Hudson
- Family-friendly yoga with Isabel
- Tree learning activities
- Community litter pick with Climate Action Lewisham
- Beats & Grind *from 9am* will be selling delicious teas and coffees. Bring your own keep cup if you have one, to prevent waste and save 20p
Bring your friends, neighbours, family, and a love for nature and let’s celebrate the new trees and grow together!

We're turning the street into a fun, safe space for local residents and families to come together - play games, make new friends, and enjoy a car-free afternoon outside. We are also very excited to be joined by crew from Forest Hill Fire Station.

Our community came together for a St Patick's Day Parade down the Waterlink Way to Bellingham Play Park and the Perry Hill Pub. An amazing day, see you next year!

We had a community play day at the park where local families could share their ideas for the new play park, memories of the area, build a new park in junk with London Play and meet some local wildlife!
