You all women have seen the images of the anchor shape scar after a breast lift or breast reduction surgery. That’s where the Dr. Gary Horndeski Bellesoma method is different from the traditional breast reduction surgery. If you have a little bit of knowledge of how a traditional breast reduction surgery works, you can easily comprehend how the Horndeski Method is different from it.
In traditional breast surgery, three incisions are made on the breast:
one around the areola
one vertically connecting the areola and the breast crease on the front of the breast
one along the under-breast crease.
These three incisions left an anchor-shaped scar on the breast mound. A circular scar surrounds the nipple-areola complex, a second scar runs from the circular one down to the fold underneath the breast, and a third scar runs along this fold. The vertical scar is the most visible and frustrating one that discourages women from breast surgery.
Dr. Gary Horndeski, Bellesoma method, also known as the Horndeski Method, is different from the traditional surgery in the fact that it utilizes an incision around the areola, and an incision along the underside of the breast crease to create the new breast position. No vertical incisions are made in this method.
The new breast mound created is attached to the pectoral chest muscle. Thus, it reduces the burden on the patient’s skin around the breast. Directly attaching the breast mound to the chest muscle decreases the chances of the fallout and takes the weight off of the neck, shoulder, and back, which results in less pain in these areas.

“I had a breast lift 5 weeks before, wanted to do it all at once but was advice against it by family member and Dr. Horndeski and I am so glad I did this give my body the change to heal focusing on one area at a time which work well for me. This is just part 2 of my journey with excellent results being I am still healing.”
