This lesson includes:
Creating base, boss, and cut features from sketches
Adding fillets to smooth edges
Creating a circular pattern
Adding drawing views
Adding centerlines, center marks, and dimensions to the drawing
Pressure Plate
This shows what the circular array will create on my part. Since I made one part, I can makes duplicates.
This is the final product!
SolidWorks Tutorial 1,2, & 3
This tutorial consists of:
Using different type of fillets
Creating a circular pattern
Adding drawing views
Creating an assembly file
This is the assembly as a whole
Underneath it is the two different parts before assembled.
This is the final product of the first part!
And this is he drawing view of the assembly as a whole
Fillets
This tutorial consists of:
Fillet Features
Adding different fillet types:
Face
Constant radius
Variable radius
Using mirroring to assure symmetry
Applying a library feature
Final Product.
In this picture, it shows where the fillet will be
With the mirror feature, I can copy everything I did on one side to the other
Revolves and Sweeps - Candle Stick
This tutorial consists of:
Creating a revolve feature
Creating a sweep feature
Creating an extruded cut feature with a draft angle
here, you can see what the sweep shape would look like using the feature.
This is before I used the revolve so it not only mirrors, but makes a 3D shape.
This is what the candle stick looked like (with dimensions) before the sweep
Final product :D
Pattern Feature
This tutorial includes:
Creating an oblong cut
Creating a linear pattern
Creating a circular pattern
Using an equation to drive the circular pattern
Here, you can see the cut I made with the lines that I created.
In this picture, you can see that I use an linear pattern to create the cuts vertically. After the vertical pattern, I used the circular pattern to repeat it on all four planes.
This is the cuts before the circular pattern.
This is the final product :)
Loft
This lesson demonstrates:
Creating planes
Sketching, copying, and pasting the profiles
Creating a solid by connecting the profiles (lofting)
Adding a flex feature to bend the model
Here, I just created the first four planes and created the head.
Here, I am lofting by creating a solid out of another plane and the creation I had already made.
Here, you can see that I am bending the original shape. The original shape is the blue you see above the bent shape.
Final Product of Loft!
Nut and Bolt Assembly
This assembly consists of:
Creating threads
Creating an assembly that interacts with each other
In this picture, you can see the threads that will be added to the part.
This is the final picture of the nut part of this assembly.
Final video! Here, you can see the way the nut reacts when in contact with the bolt.
Assessments
Fillet Assessment
What is in this assessment: proof that I know how to use the fillet feature
Revolves and Sweeps Assessment
In this assessment, there is proof that I understand how to use the revolve feature and the sweeps feature.
Video of my cup
This is the sweep that has made the handle to the cup
This is my revolve that made my cylinder to make the cup. I after shelled the figure and gave it fillets for a clean look.
