For first time users, the BELLA Fits-anywhere™ Slim 4qt wins because its slim footprint fits tight counters without sacrificing cooking volume. If you need to feed a larger family or cook bigger cuts of meat, the 6qt version is the better alternative for its wider capacity.
• BELLA Fits-anywhere™ Slim 4qt — best for small kitchens and solo cooks; pick this if you need a space-saving appliance that still handles full meals in a compact form.
• BELLA Fits-Anywhere™ 6qt — best for families or meal preppers; pick this if you require a larger basket to cook whole chickens or big batches of sides simultaneously.
• BELLA 14734 — best for those who prefer traditional stainless steel aesthetics and peeking during cooking; pick this if you want a robust unit with a window feature rather than a slim profile.
The BELLA Fits-anywhere™ Slim 4qt is designed specifically for environments where counter real estate is at a premium. Its most defining characteristic is the "Fits-anywhere" concept, which translates to a sleek, narrow body that saves up to 50% more space compared to older models. This isn't just about looking good on a shelf; it is about practicality. You can tuck this unit into a corner or slide it under a low cabinet overhang where a standard deep basket air fryer simply would not fit. For someone new to air frying who lives in an apartment or has a galley kitchen, this space efficiency is often the deciding factor.
Inside the slim frame, the machine does not compromise on utility. That might sound modest for a 4-quart unit, but the design maximizes the internal volume so you are actually cooking enough for two adults or a single hearty portion. The ceramic nonstick coating, branded as EverGood, is a significant health upgrade for beginners. It eliminates PFAS, PFOA, PTFE, lead, and cadmium from your cooking surface, meaning you get easy cleanup and peace of mind regarding what touches your food.
Operation is handled by digital controls with six presets including air fry, bake, roast, broil, reheat, and dehydrate. The 1300-watt power output combined with circular heat technology ensures that even smaller batches cook quickly and evenly. I recommend this model for the first-time user who wants to start their air frying journey without dedicating a large chunk of their kitchen to one appliance. The trade-off is purely capacity; while it handles family dinners well for two people, it will feel cramped if you are trying to cook for four or five at once. However, for the vast majority of modern households, the space saved outweighs the need for a massive drawer.

If the 4qt model feels too small for your lifestyle, the BELLA Fits-Anywhere™ 6qt steps in as the logical upgrade. It retains the exact same slim, space-saving architecture as its smaller sibling, ensuring it still tucks away neatly in tight spots. The primary difference lies in the internal volume. You are no longer limited to single-serving portions or splitting fries between two batches.
The increased capacity comes with a boost in power as well. While the 4qt model runs at 1300 watts, this 6qt version delivers 1750 watts of power. This higher wattage helps recover heat faster when you open the drawer or add cold ingredients, keeping the cooking process efficient even with heavier loads. Like the smaller model, it features the proprietary EverGood ceramic nonstick coating, ensuring that the larger cooking area remains easy to clean and free from toxic chemicals. The digital interface offers the same six versatile presets, giving you full control over temperature and cooking modes whether you are roasting a chicken breast or dehydrating fruit slices.
I view this as the ideal choice for first-time buyers who know they have a growing family or simply love cooking large gatherings. The ability to cook a whole salmon fillet or a large tray of roasted vegetables in one go saves significant time and energy. The trade-off is slightly more weight and a larger overall footprint, though the "slim" design keeps the depth manageable. If you are unsure about how much you will cook, starting here prevents the frustration of having to cook multiple rounds for dinner. It bridges the gap between a personal snack maker and a serious kitchen workhorse.
The BELLA 14734 Touchscreen Convection Air Fryer takes a different approach to the market. Instead of focusing on a slim, narrow profile, it embraces a classic stainless steel aesthetic that looks like a traditional countertop oven. This unit stands out for its 5.3-quart capacity and its robust build quality. It is designed for users who prioritize durability and a premium look over the ultra-slim form factor of the Fits-anywhere series. The stainless steel construction gives it a heftier, more permanent presence in the kitchen.
One of its standout features for a beginner is the "Easy Check Function," which allows you to peek inside the cooking chamber while the unit is running without interrupting the cycle. This visual feedback is incredibly helpful for new cooks who worry about burning food or aren't sure if their dish is done. The touchscreen digital interface simplifies operation, removing the confusion of physical knobs. It utilizes high-performance Circular Heat Technology with a 1700-watt heating element to ensure food cooks evenly and crisps up perfectly every time. The dishwasher-safe basket and drawer further reduce the friction of cleanup, making the experience less daunting for novices.
I suggest this model for those who want a standalone appliance that blends seamlessly with other metal appliances in their kitchen. It is perfect for users who find the ceramic coating of the slim models too delicate or who prefer the industrial look of stainless steel. The main trade-off is size; this unit is significantly deeper and taller than the Fits-anywhere series, requiring a dedicated section of your counter. It also lacks the specific "space-saving" claim of the other two models. However, if you have ample counter space and value the ability to monitor your food visually, this model offers a very satisfying and reliable cooking experience.

Yes, all three models utilize non-toxic coatings or materials. The Fits-anywhere series uses an EverGood ceramic coating free of PFAS, PFOA, and PTFE, while the 14734 uses stainless steel elements that avoid direct contact with potentially harmful chemical coatings.
Most modern Bella units do not strictly require preheating due to their rapid heat recovery technology. However, for best results with thicker items like chicken breasts, letting the unit run for a minute or two can help achieve a crispier exterior.
The BELLA 14734 explicitly lists a dishwasher-safe basket and drawer. The Fits-anywhere models feature nonstick ceramic coatings that are generally easy to hand wash, though specific dishwasher safety for the coating should be verified against the included manual to ensure longevity.
