About Us

Kaelyn Bullock and Young Kim

I started as Social Studies educator in 2006. At some point, Young was in my 8th grade US History class. He was one of those students that loved history. As I got to know him in all of my classes all the way through his senior year I told him that he would be an amazing teacher. He ended up attending the same college I attended, Calvin University. Meanwhile, I moved back to Michigan with my family. I spent a year coordinating online learners and then I got the awesome job of Instructional Technology Coach in a district in metro-Detroit. Young and I stayed connected throughout the years and decided to jump in and start a teaching podcast. He is currently in the Seattle area looking for his first, official teaching job.
