If you want premium battery life, seamless device switching, and a compact case for active daily use, choose Belkin SoundForm ClearFit Open-Ear; if you need absolute safety during night runs, rugged waterproofing, and bone conduction technology for hearing impaired users, choose FANSAISI Bone Conduction Headphones.
• Belkin SoundForm ClearFit Open-Ear: Offers an impressive 26-hour total battery life and Bluetooth multipoint connectivity for effortless switching between devices, but lacks the specialized night-safety lighting found on competitors.
• FANSAISI Bone Conduction Headphones: Features an IP67 waterproof rating and a visible LED strip for night visibility, yet provides only 12 hours of playback and no active noise cancellation for calls.
• Who is this for?: The Belkin pick is ideal for audiophiles seeking high-fidelity audio with all-day endurance, while the FANSAISI option suits runners who prioritize environmental awareness and extreme weather resistance over extended battery duration.
The Belkin SoundForm ClearFit Open-Ear earbuds are engineered specifically for the user who demands longevity and versatility without sacrificing comfort. At the heart of their design is a focus on the "audiophile" experience within an open-ear form factor. With 14mm dynamic drivers delivering a frequency range from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, these earbuds aim to provide full, balanced high-fidelity audio that rivals traditional closed-back models while keeping your ears open to the world. This makes them a compelling choice for neckband headphones for audiophiles who still need the freedom of movement that comes with wireless sport gear.
One of the standout features here is the sheer stamina of the battery. You get eight hours of continuous play per charge, which extends to a massive 26 hours when paired with the included charging case. This is not just about listening longer; it is about reliability for long commutes, marathon training sessions, or workdays where recharging isn't an option. The fast-charging capability is equally practical, offering 60 minutes of playtime from just a 10-minute USB-C charge. If you are someone who forgets to plug in overnight, this feature alone solves a major pain point.

Connectivity is another area where this product shines for the modern multitasker. The inclusion of Bluetooth 5.3 and multipoint connection allows you to pair two devices simultaneously—say, a laptop for work and a smartphone for personal calls. You can seamlessly transition from a meeting on your computer to answering a call on your phone without fumbling through menus. Combined with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) for clearer calls, these earbuds are built for the professional athlete or the hybrid worker who refuses to compromise on sound quality or connection stability. They are durable enough for sweat and spills with an IPX5 rating, making them a robust companion for gym sessions and outdoor adventures.
The FANSAISI Bone Conduction Headphones cater to a very specific demographic: those who prioritize situational awareness above all else, particularly during high-risk activities like running at night. Unlike traditional earbuds that sit in or cover the ear canal, these utilize bone conduction technology to transmit sound directly through the cheekbones to the inner ear. This leaves the eardrums completely unobstructed, allowing you to hear traffic, conversations, and nature sounds with crystal clarity while listening to music. For individuals with hearing impairments affecting the outer or middle ear, this design offers a unique solution to enjoy audio that traditional speakers cannot.
Safety is the defining characteristic of the FANSAISI design, specifically regarding low-light conditions. The integrated night LED strip on the neckband is a game-changer for evening athletes. This feature allows you to be seen by passing cars, significantly reducing the risk of accidents during night workouts. While many sports headphones rely solely on reflective materials, the active illumination provided here adds a layer of protection that is hard to ignore. Coupled with an IP67 waterproof rating, these headphones can withstand heavy rain, intense sweat, and even accidental submersion in water, though they are not suitable for swimming. This level of protection makes them the superior choice for anyone who trains in unpredictable weather conditions.
However, the trade-off for this extreme durability and safety focus is the audio delivery method and battery life. While the frequency response spans the standard 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, the bone conduction driver produces a different sound profile than dynamic drivers. Bass may feel less punchy, but the clarity of mids and highs remains intact. The battery life is rated at 12 hours on a single charge, which is solid but falls short of the Belkin's 26-hour total capacity. Charging takes about 1.5 hours via magnetic cable. These headphones are best suited for users who value the lightweight titanium neckband and the peace of mind that comes with being able to hear everything around them, rather than those seeking deep, immersive bass or all-day power without a case.
• Best for Battery Life → Belkin SoundForm ClearFit Open-Ear: With 26 hours of total playback including the case versus 12 hours on a single charge, Belkin wins decisively for long-haul users.
• Best for Night Safety → FANSAISI Bone Conduction Headphones: The built-in LED light strip is a critical feature for runners and cyclists exercising after dark, a feature Belkin lacks entirely.
• Best for Waterproofing → FANSAISI Bone Conduction Headphones: An IP67 rating offers superior protection against dust and water immersion compared to Belkin's IPX5 sweat resistance.
• Best for Audio Fidelity → Belkin SoundForm ClearFit Open-Ear: The 14mm dynamic drivers generally offer a richer, more balanced sound signature preferred by audiophiles over bone conduction transmission.
• Best for Call Clarity → Belkin SoundForm ClearFit Open-Ear: Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) actively reduces background noise for callers, whereas FANSAISI has no active noise control.
• Best for Device Switching → Belkin SoundForm ClearFit Open-Ear: Multipoint connectivity allows seamless toggling between two devices, a feature supported by both but crucial for productivity.
• Best for Hearing Impaired Users → FANSAISI Bone Conduction Headphones: The bone conduction architecture specifically benefits those with outer or middle ear issues, a niche Belkin does not address.
• Best Value for Travelers → Belkin SoundForm ClearFit Open-Ear: The compact, slim case fits easily in pockets, whereas the FANSAISI wraparound frame is bulkier and less pocket-friendly.
In my opinion, if you are shopping for the best spatial audio earphones for audiophiles who also need reliable performance, the Belkin SoundForm ClearFit Open-Ear is the winner. The combination of high-fidelity dynamic drivers, 26-hour battery life, and the ability to switch between a laptop and phone instantly creates a superior all-around package for daily life and fitness. I would buy these because they solve the biggest problems most people face: running out of battery and struggling to hear calls in noisy environments. However, if your primary concern is running safely in the dark or you have specific hearing needs, the FANSAISI model becomes the necessary tool. For the general consumer seeking a blend of sound quality and endurance, Belkin takes the crown.
