Belfast City Inclusion are preparing to make their competitive debut as they join the Soccer Sixes league, hosted at Seaview Stadium – the home of Crusaders FC.
The new club, formed in July 2025 to provide inclusive football opportunities for players with disabilities, learning difficulties and mental health challenges, will step onto the pitch for their first ever league match on Sunday 20th July. Their opening opposition is yet to be confirmed, but excitement is already building among players and supporters alike.
The Soccer Sixes is a popular 6-a-side league that brings together teams from across Belfast to compete in weekly Sunday night fixtures under the lights at one of the city’s most iconic grounds.
Team captain, Ciaran Connolly, said:
“Making our debut in the Soccer Sixes league is a huge milestone for Belfast City Inclusion. This is the start of something special – giving our players the chance to compete, grow in confidence and show that football really is for everyone. We can’t wait to get started at Seaview.”
Belfast City Inclusion continue to welcome new players aged 12+ of all abilities, with weekly training sessions held at Grosvenor Leisure Centre and Dunville Park.
The team are also encouraging supporters to come down and cheer them on as they embark on their first league campaign.
