1 GENERAL REGULATIONS
Brevet BELARUS 1200 "From Bug to Dnieper" is organized and conducted in accordance with articles 35 and 42 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus, the Regulation on order of carrying out in the Republic of Belarus of sporting events, the approved Resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, a plan of the Ministry of sport and tourism in 2020, the international Cycling organizations LRM (Les Randonne urs Mondiaux) in 2020, subject to the LRM brevets rules and these Regulations.
2. GOALS
The main goals of the Brevet BELARUS 1200 "From Bug to Dnieper" are:
- promotion of the Cycling tourism sport;
- involvement of new participants in sports Cycling events;
- development of inbound Cycling, attraction of foreign participants;
- training cyclists to participate in international competitions;
- promotion of healthy lifestyles and active recreation;
- media involvement in the development of Cycling tourism sport in Belarus and abroad.
3. ORGANIZERS
1 Control of the Brevet BELARUS 1200 "From Bug to Dnieper" is carried out by the Ministry of sports and tourism.
2 Management of the organization and conduct of the Brevet, its technical support, preparation of places of start, finish and rest of participants is carried out by the Work Group (WG), including representatives of Cycling clubs of Brest, Lida, Minsk, Gomel, members of the Council of Randonneurs of Belarus.
3 The direct conduct of the Brevet is entrusted to the organizing Committee consisting of:
Pavel Gorbatsevich - Director of Brevet, Chairman of the WG, Chairman of the organizing Committee;
Alexander Oleshkevich – the chief judge of the Brevet timing;
Philip Fedotov is the designer of the Brevet route , the designer of the website and Brevet materials;
Oleg Dubrovnik – head of the Brevet volunteers team;
Vadim Rudko - head of the technical support and assistance team.

4. FINANCING
1 Financing of the project is carried out by organizers of a Brevet, sponsors and entry fees of participants; structure of expenses:
- arrangement of places of start/finish, and also Points of Rest of participants (PR);
- providing participants with start-up packages and meals;
- purchase of prizes, medals, souvenirs for finishers and participants;
- provision of escort vehicles (for evacuation, assistance to participants);
- providing medical support for the event;
- maintenance of traffic police escort from Brest Fortress to departure from Brest;
- announcement of the competition in the media.
2 Ministry of sport and tourism produces printed materials.
3 Functions of the WG, the organizing Committee and the Staff of Volunteers - at the own expense of their members.
4 Expenses for travel and accommodation of participants are carried out at the expense of own means of participants or the organizations sending them.
5. PLACE AND DATE OF THE THE BREVET
1 Brevet will take place from August 6 to August 10, 2020;
2 Start: Brest Fortress, Brest;
3 Finish: hotel "AMAKS City", Zhlobin;
4 Track of the distance: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/map/1200--1282;
5 Points of rest of participants: Lida, Pinsk, Mozyr (every 300 - 400 km).
6. THE FORMAT OF THE BREVET
1 Brevet is not a Cycling race, but a long-hours test of participants-cyclists when they pass the distance according to the established standards with the fixation of time at the Control points (CP) and at the Finish.
2 Features and requirements for the route of Brevet - eco-friendly roads with little traffic and beautiful scenery.
3 Roads will have a good asphalt on ~ 98% distance (on opportunities).
4 Route marking is not carried out, and the track is provided by a link on the website.
5 Organizers have the right to change the track of the distance after its publication.
6 Following the track is a mandatory requirement for each participant.
7 No requirements and restrictions for navigation and navigation devices.
8 Age restrictions: participant must be at least 18 years old.
9 Restrictions on the number of participants: up to 60 persons.
10 Passage the point and standards for the point – by the rules of the LRM, including:
- each participant – is an individual cyclist who obeys traffic rules of the Republic of Belarus;
- group traffic – only according to the traffic rules of the Republic of Belarus;
- implementation of technical assistance - independent;
- implementation of any external assistance - only in the established Controls;
- standards of time of arrival on Controls and to the Finish (<90 h) - by rules of LRM.
7. REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS
1 Read this Regulation.
2 Register via the Internet on the website WWW.BREVETS.BY
3 Pay the entry fee.
The method of making the entry fee will be announced later.
4 Strongly recommend to send to BREVETSBY@GMAIL.COM confirmation of BRM for 2019-2020, so that we have an idea about the level of your physical form.

6 To pass face-to-face registration before the start, presenting: a) an identity document; b) a valid insurance policy of individual or group insurance, which allows participation in sports events.
7 Check and mark the readiness of equipment and bike before the start.
8 Get a starter pack from the organizers.
9 Go to the start at the appointed time.
10 Comply with this Regulations during the the brevet.
11 Participant who has descended from a distance, is obliged to inform organizers about it.
8. PRE-REGISTRATION, PAYMENT, REGISTRATION
Preliminary registration.
1 Preliminary registration is carried out on the website WWW.BREVETS.BY from 01.11.2019 to 02.04.2020; participants fill out a form confirming their agreement with the Brevet requirements and their responsibility for compliance with this Regulations.
2 In the period from 01.11.2019 to 01.07.2020 to the address BREVETSBY@GMAIL.COM participants, if possible, send confirmation of their BRM brevets.
3 In period from 15.06.2020 to 30.06.2020 participants contribute entry fee (see paragraph 7.3).
Pre-registration is considered to be completed after payment of the entry fee; any benefits for payment of participation are not provided; the return of the entry fee is possible only until 01.05.2020.
Formation of the list of participants invited to the Brevet.
4 As the requirements of paragraphs 7, 8.1 – 8.3 are done participants are admitted to the Brevet, entered in the list of invited participants and notified by mail; and the timekeeping judge enters participants in the timekeeping Database WWW.OTMETKA.NET and sets the participant's starting number;
5 Invited participants send an SMS message with the text #860 to the phone number +375295061798, and the timekeeping system reflects them in the ONLINE Protocol;
Registration before the start.
6 Face-to-face registration is carried out in Brest at the start point (Brest Fortress);
participants receive starting packages (starting numbers, participant's memos, Brevet card, Souvenirs, cartographic materials and route legend, brochure about sights);
before the start, participants hand over their belongings (1 package up to 5 kg) for casting at the Finish;
7 The full package of the participant includes: the starting package (see paragraph 8.6), the services provided in each room (dinner, breakfast, bed, bedding, shower and accessories, maintenance) and services at the start\finish.
9. EVENT PROGRAM

7:00 - 8:30 - face-to-face registration, equipment check;
8:30 - 9:00 - pre-start briefing with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of sports and tourism, Brest Executive Committee, guests-athletes, management of the organizing Committee; photo and video shooting of all participants (photo shoot); media interviews;
9:00 - start of the Brevet peloton;
9:00 - 9:30 - support of the peloton by the traffic police car before leaving Brest;
10:30 - 12:00 - organized entrance to Belovezhskaya Pushcha;
from 06.08.2020 to 10.08.2020
21:00 06.08.2020 – 06:00 07.08.2020 – provision of services on Point of Rest-1 in Lida;
21:00 07.08.2020 – 06:00 08.08.2020 – provision of services on Point of Rest-2 in Pinsk;
21:00 08.08.2020 – 06:00 09.08.2020 – provision of services on Point of Rest-3 in Mozyr;
12:00 08.08.2020 – 03:00 10.08.2020 – provision of services on Point of Rest-4 in Zhlobin;
03:00 10.08.2020 - closing of the event, formation of a draft Protocol;
12:00 11.08.2020 - publication of the draft Protocol in LRM format;
10.08.2020 - 17.08.2020 - providing confirmations of passing all Controls;
18.08.2020 - publication of the final Protocol for approval in the LRM.
10. MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
1 Bike with a working rear red light, working Bicycle flashlight, working brakes;
2 Bike Helmet, high-visibility reflective vest;
3 The identity Document of the participant, or a photocopy of it (at the start)
4 Insurance policy (see paragraph 7.6 above);
5 Phone or smartphone with entered SMS server number +375295061798.
6 Start numbers (issued at the start), attached to a Bicycle and Helmet.
In case of some mandatory equipment absence , the Organizers reserve the right not to allow the participant to start!
11. DISTANCE CONTROL
1 At the Start, in each Control (on arrival) and Finish participants send to the SMS-server the SMS-message with number of Control - according to the Brevet card (for the ONLINE-Protocol http://www.otmetka.net/cgi-bin/Results.pl?evid=860);
2 In case of impossibility to fulfill item 1, participants fill in the Brevet card themselves;
3 In each Control participants issue a confirmation of being on that Control , for example: a photo of the bill at the store or gas station, photo, recorded track or piece of track near Control;
4 At the Points of Rest participants provide their Brevet cards to the volunteer for marking;
5 At the Finish, participants pass their Brevet cards to a representative of the organizers.
12. SECURITY
1 The Participant should promptly contact the organizers in case of: early withdrawal from the race; deterioration of health or injury; damage, breakage, loss of items of mandatory equipment; detection of circumstances that pose a danger to other Brevet participants .
2 Each participant is provided with a card with data about convenient vanishing points.
3 Evacuation of participants by transport of organizers is paid: 1 km costs 1 Belorussian ruble ~ 0,5 USD per 1 km.
4 Participants shall inform the organizers of any Brevet violations.
13. FINES, DISQUALIFICATION, PROTESTS, VIOLATIONS.
1 Penalties and disqualification are subject to the LRM rules, including for: lack of mandatory equipment, unsportsmanlike conduct, etc.
2 Disqualification - for:
- providing incorrect information,
- failure to comply with the requirements of the organizers,
- movement in the dark, as well as in poor visibility without high-visibility reflective vest , without lights on,
- the movement out of the track (route).
3 Participant has the right to give a protest against the actions of another participant within an hour after his finish; then the organizers make a decision on the protest within an hour; any objective information is used for this; all participants and organizers are guided by the principle of "fair play".
4 Formation of marks for not passed all distance - by the General rules.
14. DETERMINATION OF WINNERS AND AWARDS
1 According to LRM rules, all finishers are winners.
2 All finishers receive a medal from the Organizers at the Finish.
3 Each female finisher at the finish line receives a prize; the youngest finisher (<20 years old) and the oldest finisher (>70 years old) receive prizes.
15. MEDIA
1 Media viewers can watch the start and support Brevet participants.
2 Mass media have the right to interact with Brevet participants - for popularization.
16. AMENDMENTS TO THE REGULATIONS
1 Organizers have the right to make changes to the Regulations and inform about it.
2 Changes are published on Brevet's official website and in Brevet's announcement.

2 All photos and videos of Brevet are used by the organizers without the consent of the participants, commercial use of these materials is not allowed.
3 Organizers can not to allow the participant to start without explanation.
