My name is Bei Zhou (pronounced /'bei dou/; Chinese version is 周备).
I am currently a Research Associate in the Theory Division at Fermilab (Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory) and an Associate Fellow at KICP (the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics) at the University of Chicago.
Before this, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow (2020-2023) in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University, where I collaborated with Prof. Marc Kamionkowski and Prof. Emanuele Berti.
I earned my Ph.D. (with Prof. John Beacom) from the Department of Physics at The Ohio State University (2015--2020), where I was also affiliated with the Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics (CCAPP).
I am a theoretical physicist working at the interface of particle physics, astrophysics, and cosmology. My research focuses on understanding the Universe and the role of fundamental physics (e.g., dark matter) using various tools, including neutrinos, gravitational waves, and photons.
