Bei Zhou

My name is Bei Zhou (pronounced /ˈbeɪ dʒoʊ/; Chinese version is 周贝). I am currently a Research Associate in the Theory Division at Fermilab (Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory) and an Associate Fellow at KICP (the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics) at the University of Chicago.

Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow (2020-2023) in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University, where I collaborated with Prof. Marc Kamionkowski and Prof. Emanuele Berti

I earned my Ph.D. (advised by Prof. John Beacom) from the Department of Physics at The Ohio State University (2015–2020), where I was also affiliated with the Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics (CCAPP).

My primary focus is on theoretical particle astrophysics and cosmology, with particular interests in neutrinos, gamma rays, gravitational waves, and dark matter. Check the Research page to see more!
