The first workshop on Benchmarking Interactive Narrative Systems (BEINS) is facing the issue of evaluation and comparison of Interactive Narrative Systems with a benchmark approach.
The BEINS workshop is an informal workshop where everybody is asked to actively participate in discussions and debates on benchmarking. The short-term goal is to come up with a series of propositions to be discussed during the next ICIDS conference.
It is entirely online, with a first part involving asynchronous activities, and a second part consisting of a synchronous online event on June 13th, 2019.
Deadline: May 31, 2019
Participants are asked to write short memos on either algorithms/engines (option A) they have been working on, or benchmarking approaches (option B) they consider as relevant.
Deadline: June 7, 2019
Participants read all the memos. Choose one (or more) to comment on.
Deadline: June 13, 2019
The chairs will read all the comments and will draft a synthesis document. This document will be shared and used as discussion material.
All times are Geneva times / Central European Summer Time (CEST)
