About Us

With more than 2000 visits every month, this platform (BEings) has been helping engineering students of many streams. We recently collaborated with NIT Agartala and formed BEing Electrical NIT Agartala, similarly we wish to expand our reach to other colleges and help as many students as possible.

It all started as a small effort by founder Rishav Dutta as an online repository of the previous year's question papers and lab assignments to help his classmates, but it had a huge impact on the others and started expanding. The Platform was officially rolled out on December 21, 2018, as an online repository of lab manuals and previous year question papers of IIEST, later it expanded upto what it is today.

Started as a simple online notes repository by just a single person "BEing Civil" has come a long way, still trying to move to greater heights and striving to reach all the engineering students in our country.

Today BEings has platforms that serve as a platform for exchanging P.I experiences, repositories across other departments of IIEST, Shibpur, and also across colleges with more than 25k+ monthly visits in each of our sites, we can proudly say that we have achieved a feat in serving the student community and your positive feedbacks are no less than honor medals for us.

The initiative was started with Rishav Dutta ( CiVil, Batch '20), with a vision to help students with all their lab assignments and college submissions. Starting with just a single member today now Team Beings consists of more than 50 members and covering all the subjects and sessional courses offered for Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Metallurgy and Mining at IIEST Shibpur both for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
