About:

Welcome to the secure digital footprint for SEAL. SEAL (Secure Energy and Automation Laboratory) is the an interdisciplinary research and education center targeted to address recent challenges in security, controls, power engineering, and hardware in the loop (HIL) nearly 8 years of research. The focus of SEAL is to apply advanced secure controls and artificial intelligence (AI) optimization concepts in conjunction with cyber/physical security enablers to smart systems such as maritime, terrestrial, and vehicular with the ultimate goal of validating simulation models of systems and control in real-time via Controller Hardware in the Loop (CHIL) and Power Hardware in the Loop(PHIL).

We encourage you to explore more in our website and to see if you can find opportunity to join to our active team consists of faculty, post-doctoral researchers, PhD students, undergraduate, and high school researchers producing excellent state of the art research for the benefit of secure smart systems.

We cooperatively work with many partners internal to Clemson University as well as nationally and internationally.
