Hello guys and gals. Welcome to a new way of seeing Behind The Seen. And yes, it really is at no cost, no catches. With a money back guarantee no less. 😂
If you haven't registered yet, please go to Register so you can join the "Members Behind The Seen" Facebook page then come back here.
1. You can now download the latest copy of "Behind The Seen" e-book.
It's not going to be a fast read, take it slowly and study and think about each article until it sinks in. The first part gets your head in the right place for the rest of it so I suggest you read that first as it sets you up for the rest of the content. Then practice each article, element/technique one at a time to perfect it, to understand it. Then you can add elements together like words in a sentence, like different notes to make music. And end up with masterpieces.
By all means, if a particular article speaks to you initially, go for it. But get to the first part sooner rather than later. You'll see what I mean.
2. Join the "Members Behind The Seen" Facebook group.
Why join the group? Updates and extra articles will be notified and available through our private Members Facebook page so newcomers down the track will be able to catch up with any extra articles in the relevant Notices section of the Facebook page. Only registered members can join the Fb group so that we get posts and comments in the language of the book instead of subjective opinions, as generally happens on social media. It's an extension of the book with discussions in articles and posts with aspects of the book in mind. So it's a classroom for masters and apprentices at the same time. And aren't we all learning whatever our level? We're trying to be a discussion group rather than just posting pretty pictures that just get likes. Although that signifies your agreement to the description and image, and that's fine, but a thoughtful comment always helps everybody.
3. Then perhaps have a quick read of your favourite article and post a new member post with something that resonates and complies with the book. Or simply introduce yourself and tell us what you're looking forward to.
4. Would you like to join a Collaborative Digital Exhibition? Click on the Exhibition link in the Menu for more info.
5. Please spread the word to others you think would get something from it - to photographer friends, your camera club or Facebook group etc. with the sample text below, or just say what you want. Don't just copy the book to others though please, ask them to get their free copy through here at https://sites.google.com/view/behindtheseen so they can join the Facebook group and get updates and extra articles.
I hope you get a lot, or something, from it and I look forward to reading your comments and seeing your photos in the Member's Fb group.
Regards, Adrian Lowe

Sample wording:
I thought you might be interested in a new photography e-book I just got called "Behind The Seen" or "The Psychology of Imagery" by Adrian Lowe. It's more about looking behind the subconscious reasons we get attracted to elements within scenes/subjects so we can shoot and edit to highlight those important things. It also means viewers will also automatically/subconsciously see the essence of what we are depicting. It's in fairly plain language and is quite comprehensive at 333 pages - at no cost. Check it out. It's explained quite well with examples of articles at https://sites.google.com/view/behindtheseen
