Hi, I'm Ian, and I’m part of Greg Scott's 301 advisory (12th grade). In addition to hosting, I’m responsible for coordinating interviews, reaching out to potential guests, and helping schedule times for us to meet and record in person.
I joined Big Picture because traditional school settings didn’t work well for me—dealing with social anxiety and feeling confined to a classroom all day made learning difficult. When I shadowed at Big Picture, it completely changed my perspective! I was blown away by the real-world learning opportunities, especially the internships, and the next year, I became a Big Picture student.
I first got involved with the podcast when Ti asked me to create a short jingle. After finishing the project, I asked if I could join the team, and they said yes! It’s been an incredible experience, and I’ve never regretted a moment of it.
Hi, I’m Dredin Thomas, a junior at Lafayette Big Picture. I chose Big Picture after a shadow day because I was inspired by the school's approach to learning—it focuses on shaping education around the student, rather than the other way around. I joined the podcast to share the unique experience and values of our school with people who may not be familiar with us or are curious to learn more about Big Picture.
Hello, I'm the mentor for the Behind the Picture Podcast. My role is to guide and support the hosts, helping them grow while also assisting with the technical aspects of podcast production. In addition to my work on the podcast, I mentor students in the photography internship and serve as a substitute teacher at Big Picture.
