Chris Carl: 15 Years experience in the IT world. I started my career at Millersville University working for 2 separate IT departments there. On one end I learned UNIX system administration, administrative reporting, statistics, and data mining and analysis. On the other I worked at the Help Desk. I helped resolve a wide range of issues across the entire campus with all skill levels. It was here where I started a freelance business unofficially. This is where I would help off campus students who did not have full access to university resources. Shortly thereafter I worked as a Tier 2 tech support engineer for Sun Microsystems. Where I learned about Sun server hardware and software (Solaris UNIX) among other software utilities. I then developed a website for a small business I help run called Survival Attitude. My most recent venture was that in the world of robotics where I provided system support for an automated robotics system in a major grocery warehouse in the south eastern PA region. As you can see my skills are vast and wide. I am customer focused and self driven and strive for excellence in customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness when providing service to customers.
Ed Johnson: Associates Degree in Computer & Electronics Engineering and 14 years of IT experience with an additional 10 years of Automated Logistics experience in the United States Army. I began my experience in the IT field by simply assembling and disassembling PC's. I then escalated into repairing and troubleshooting machines for friends and family. I developed a growing hunger for knowledge and understanding in the technical field, and a desire to share that knowledge with friends and other customers for whom I would work. I developed a passion for customer service working for clients and for the short time I worked in the welfare department in Chester, PA. I am a firm believer of the statement, "Just fixing the problem is only part of the solution." It is equally as necessary to understand the nature of the problem, to avoid similar issues. Educating our customers is a very big part of customer service in my mind. Knowing the problem is solved and that our customers have a thorough understanding of the situation from start to finish is what I am about.
