This inter-school reading group was initiated in Winter 2021 by Xindi He and Kalash Jain at the University of Chicago with the goal of providing an informal environment for PhD students at Chicago and other peer institutions to explore the classical work and the cutting edge research in most fields of behavioral finance. Students also have opportunities to present their original research projects related to those fields.
Each participant is required to either present a paper of choice from the proposed reading list (majority of sessions) or present his/her original research projects related to those fields (limited number of sessions).
If interested, participants can choose to be considered for:
Best Discussion Award: for reading list presentation.
Best Research Proposal Award: for original research projects.
The awards will be determined by votes from all the participants and faculty advisors in the end of each quarter.
