BeHappy ("the app") is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data.
There are no accounts, ads, analytics or third-party tracking SDKs.
The app does not request internet access and works fully offline.
The app stores the following only locally on your device so it can work:
The first name or nickname you optionally enter
Your mood check-ins, gratitude journal entries and completed happy actions
Breathing session counts and your reminder settings
This data never leaves your device through the app. We (the developer) have no access to it.
If you have enabled Android's system backup, Android may include the app's data in your personal device backup (for example, Google One backup). That backup is managed by Google under your Google account settings and is not accessible to us.
If you turn on daily reminders, the app asks for permission to show notifications. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn them off anytime in the app's Settings or in Android settings.
Use Settings → Reset all data in the app, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Any of these permanently removes your data.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
BeHappy is a wellbeing and self-care app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
