Step 1:  Determine where you want to mount the gas can.

Step 2: Put butyl tape on the back of the aluminum mounting strip.

Step 3: Screw the aluminum strip onto the trailer (self-tapping screws).

Step 4: Measure the distance between the mounting holes and mark the aluminum mounting strip.

Step 5: Mount the bottom aluminum strip following the previous steps.

Step 6: Bend the metal strap on the gas can holder so that it cannot be removed.

Step 7:  Screw the gas can holder into the aluminum mounting strip.

Step 8:  Put the front panels on the gas can holder.
