CARGO TRAILER AXLE FLIP
CARGO TRAILER AXLE FLIP
Are you looking for a way to make your cargo camper an off-road beast? Check out this video, where we make some important modifications to our cargo trailer. The trailer came with a drop axle instead of a straight axle. To make for this and increase the clearance for larger wheels and tires, we decided to flip the axle. To achieve this, we used the Dexter K71-384-00 Over/Under Conversion Kit for 2-3/8" tube. This kit allowed us to flip the axle, giving us the clearance we needed for bigger wheels and tires. With this modification in place, we are now ready to continue with our camper build and create the ultimate tiny home on wheels. Stay tuned for more updates on our exciting project!
