That the Gospel is preached in four folds for four distinct dispensations is without controversy, for it is clearly illustrated throughout the Bible. The obvious illustrate are the New Testament books recording the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. It was presented in four folds, that is Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. But it is not only in the New Testament that we find such illustration, but write from Genesis through the Old Testament, the four faces are clearly brought out.

In Genesis we have Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph pointing to the four Gospel phases. Abraham Matthew, Isaac like Mark, Jacob like Luke and Joseph like John. Remember, John received the triumphant revelation of Jesus Christ while in exile, just like Joseph, and from there he was to testify to peoples, nations, tongues and kings, just like Joseph did during the seven years of famine.

Moses being a type of the Messiah had four phases in his ministry. First was Exodus, second Leviticus, third Numbers and fourth Deuteronomy. Exodus exactly like Matthew, for in both books there is the giving of the commandments from a mount. The same is the lion's gospel phase. Leviticus is a book of sacrifices for atonement, and is as Mark, the gospel phase of a calf. Numbers is the book that records the failures of Israel, and is like Luke who writes his book orderly as a scholar clearly illustrates the gospel phase of a man. And finally Deuteronomy is the book of the commandment of love, and Moses proclaims that clearly.

The word love appears in Genesis only thrice, in Exodus and Leviticus it appears twice in each book, it does not occur at all in Numbers, but it occurs sixteen times in Deuteronomy. In Deuteronomy, Moses clearly proves that God loves Israel, and therefore the children of Israel should also love God:

Deu_5:10  And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Deu_6:5  And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Deu_7:7  The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

Deu_7:9  Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Deu_7:13  And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

Deu_10:12  And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Deu_10:15  Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

Deu_10:19  Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Deu_11:1  Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

Deu_11:13  And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

Deu_11:22  For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;

Deu_13:3  Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Deu_19:9  If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:

Deu_30:6  And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Deu_30:16  In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Deu_30:20  That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Exactly like the Gospel book of John! For in all his writing John mainly emphasizes love, first showing that God loves man, and especially He loves His people. And secondly, he insists that man should, therefore, love God. And to prove that a man loves God, he should show that love to his neighbour whom John refers to him as his brother. John so much emphasis on the gospel of divine love that he referred to as the apostle of love. That is the gospel of the eagle! The divine gospel based on the revelation of God's Word. It is a prophetic gospel.

Joshua's ministry in Canaan falls under for phases. The campaign at Jericho, then the battle at Ai, followed by the battle against the five kings who came against Gibeon.  The last great battle was against the Northern kingdom of Hazor, whose king gathered all the northern forces together to fight against Joshua. There are the four phases again: the lion, the calf, the man and then the eagle. 

Come to the Judges, their gospel campaigns falls under four phases. First is Barack and his battle against Jabin king of Hazor. Second, Gideon against the Midianites. Third, Jephthah against the Ammonites and lastly, Samson against the Philistines. Those the four Judges who stand out of the book of Judges.

The books of the kings also falls under four phases. First is 1st Samuel commonly called 1st Kings. Second, 2nd Samuel commonly called 2nd Kings, third is the 1st Kings commonly known as 3rd Kings and then 2nd Kings which is commonly called 4th Kings.

Then come to the prophets, there four notable ones: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel, the major prophets. The lion, the calf, the man, and eagle gospel phases respectively. Look at the Ezekiel, God refers to him as son of man, and he prophesied under the gospel banner of the face of a man! And look at the Daniel, a man who loved God so much and was equally loved of God:

And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision. Dan 9:22-23 Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. Dan 10:18-19  

How the scriptures dovetail! Joseph in the fourth gospel position was greatly beloved not only by his father Jacob but by God also. Theme of Deuteronomy, the fourth gospel book of Moses, is divine love. Daniel, the fourth Major prophet, with the eagle's gospel book, is a man greatly beloved! John, the writer of the fourth gospel phase, is the apostle whom Jesus loved so much that even Peter was envious. And the theme of John's writings is divine love! Praise the Lord. The lion, the calf, the man and the eagle gospel ensigns.

And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. Rev 4:6-7  

Now, the Gospel of Jesus Christ proclaims the Good News of the kingdom of heaven. The Gospel that is preached is the Word of God, and the same is Jesus Christ. This Jesus is that Spoken Word of God; the same is the Original Seed whom the Father sowed in the beginning. For the Father like Abraham demonstrated upon Isaac, sowed His Son as a Seed by slaying Him, in order to multiply Him.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Rev 13:8 

Just as Abraham went to slay his only begotten son upon some mount, and as he meant to do that, offering him to God, God promised to multiply him exceedingly, so did God slay His own Son by the sword of His Spirit, and by him as a sacrifice, He laid the foundation of the world. For the world being imperfect to begin with could come into existence before a perfect God without a sacrifice. So, God loving the world so much, he offered His only Son for it to come into existence.

Thus, the Spoken Word, the Original Seed, was sown by the Father in the beginning. And the creation, which came into existence as the lamb died, received the blood with the life of the sown seed, and thus had the memorial of the dying of the lamb. For he died that it may exist. And the moment the lamb died, death occurred, and therefore, death came into existence as a memorial of the death of the lamb. And thus as the lamb died, death had taken place there and then, and its shadow sprung forth taking the place of one who had been slain. Thus was born the ministration of death, with all its laws, ordinances, statutes and judgement -- a memorial ministry taking the place of the Word of life until he comes.

For indeed the law is said to be a ministration of death, and it holds the place of one who died until he returns. The creation receives such a testimony to keep, a memorial of the lamb that was slain. That is where the laws of nature originate from. It is the testimony of death that occurred when the lamb was slain, and holds that place until he returns in glory.

Thus there are four phases of the pilgrimage of the Seed of life, the Spoken Word. We see it clearly illustrated in Joseph: In his 1st phase, he was in his father's house among his brethren, that is Jesus, the Word of life, in Genesis. He was among the sons of God in the beginning, as one of them, like Joseph. 

In the 2nd phase, Joseph was sold and became a slave in the house of Potiphar -- a servant under the yoke of the law. That is exactly like Jesus Christ, the Word of life, during the Old Testament -- for in the Old Testament, the life of the Word that was sown came under the laws of the shadow of death, for the shadow of the law of death took his place as he died as a sown seed, and poured out life. The Word being light, that which took its place as it died had to be a shadow, a memorial of the death of the sown seed. That is why God suffered the law to spring up. There is no way of avoid, for the sown seed must die in order to grow and multiply.

In the 3rd phase, Joseph was cast into prison by the law of bondage, even the woman, the wife of Potiphar. For the law wanted to hybridize itself with the life of the Word, but the life of the sown seed refused, so they crucified the prince of life and cast him to prison among the Gentiles. For the Gentiles are said to be in prison, in chains of darkness. Thus throughout the Gentile generations, during the seven Church ages, the life of God's Word has been among the Gentiles.

In the 4th phase, Joseph is loosed from prison and stands before Pharaoh, interprets his dream exactly like Daniel, and is exalted to the right hand of Pharaoh. Exactly the fourth pilgrimage of Jesus Christ during the day of the Lord. Out from among the Gentiles, he is taken to the right hand of God, all things being subdued under his feet.

GENESIS: The sowing dispensation.

THE OLD TESTAMENT: The blade comes up.

THE NEW TESTAMENT: The flowering and formation of the shuck.

THE FULLNESS OF TIME: Fruiting and ripening unto harvest

Whatever was sown in Genesis was the Word. So, whatever is brought forth as fruit at the end time is the same Word but in many members. Thus, there is one more dispensation ahead of us. The dispensation of the sons of God exactly like Jesus Christ. For all the seeds that you harvest, each of them is exactly like what was sown. So, when Christ the Son of God brings forth the sons and daughters of God, each of them will be exactly like Jesus Christ. These are those sons to be manifested at the end time. And they together makes the super race, the super Church.

Remember, God sowed His Seed, the Spoken Word, the Original Seed, to multiply him -- to bring forth more sons like him. They are coming, they are at the doors, a great congregation of sons and daughters exactly like Jesus Christ. This is the last day Church that goes to perfection. Each one of them is the Word of God. For if you sow a maize then you reap many maize seed, each of them like what was sown!
