This privacy policy applies to the Android app Beer Limit Calculator
(package name com.bgappsch.beerlimit), published by BG Apps ("we", "us").
1. No personal data is stored or transmitted
The weight, sex, beer counts, elapsed time and any other figures you enter
into the calculator are used only to compute the estimate shown on screen.
They are kept in memory for that single session only and are never saved to
your device's storage, never sent to us, and never sent to any third party.
Closing the app clears them completely.
The only information the app stores locally on your device is your chosen
language, light/dark theme preference, metric/imperial unit preference, and
whether you've completed the onboarding screen. This is ordinary
app-preference data, not personal information, and never leaves your device.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and
process data such as your advertising ID, IP address, coarse location and
device information to provide and measure ads. In the European Economic
Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you will be asked for consent via
a consent dialog before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your
choice anytime under Settings → Privacy options in the app.

3. Permissions
The app requests no Android permissions beyond internet access used by the
advertising SDK. It does not access your contacts, location, camera,
microphone or files.
4. Accuracy disclaimer
This app provides a rough estimate of blood alcohol content using the
Widmark formula, a simplified and widely-cited model. It is for
entertainment and general awareness only — it is not medical or legal
advice, does not account for individual physiology, food intake, medication
or health conditions, and must never be used to decide whether it is safe
or legal to drive. Alcohol limits and laws vary by country and this app
does not represent any specific jurisdiction's legal threshold.
5. Children
The app is a general-audience utility related to alcohol consumption and is
not directed at children. It is not intended for use by anyone below the
legal drinking age in their country.
6. Data deletion
Since no personal data is stored by the app in the first place, there is
nothing to delete beyond uninstalling the app, which removes your saved
preferences (language, theme, units, onboarding status).
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the updated version will be published at this URL
with a new "last updated" date.
