Job openings at the BEE lab


Undergraduate/Graduate Student Research Assistants: This Winter 2023, the Behavioral and Experimental Economics Research (BEE) group at the Center for Economic and Social Research is seeking outstanding students from the University of Southern California and the University of Chicago for paid research positions this winter quarter(looking to hire immediately) with the opportunity to continue work in the spring quarter. The BEE group will be working on a project studying the long-term effects of preschool on child health. We will also be studying the effects of health policy “nudges” on welfare, and the development of decision making in preschool children.

Most data projects can be completed remotely, but there may be requests to work at Saieh Hall for projects and participate in conducting field experiments.

This position will involve working on data entry tasks using Microsoft Excel and Stata. Students will be trained on these tasks. We require a 3.5 GPA or higher. Spanish fluency is a huge plus.
