Other support services include:
Library - an absolutely vital support service. Do check in with them. They can point you to amazing resources!
Writing and Communication Center -- consider using this wonderful resource for another pair of eyes on your essay drafts (not only for this course but also other course too!)
Student Technology Referral: There are multiple ways that students who may not have resources can get assistance with acquiring technology. If you are aware of a student in need of a laptop/hotspot, please submit an EAB Navigate Alert. Alerts are found in the top right hand column on each student’s page.
Choosing the “COVID 19 – Limited Access to Technology” alert option automatically sends the student a link to the loan program webpage and form. Students will be connected with folks who can assist with appropriate options. Any questions, please contact: Wendi Maze
Laptops & Hotspot Checkout: UWB IT has a limited number of mid-range laptops and hotspots for student checkout. Students will be able to install software as needed. Please have students fill out this form to request a laptop or hotspot.
Remote Computer and Software Access: UW Bothell IT has created a temporary, emergency remote computer access service that provides students with remote access to UW Bothell’s on-campus computer classrooms and computer labs. These computers offer specialized software and additional computing power. Please advise students not to save work locally on these computers and direct them to this webpage for a list of all available software and additional information and instructions.
Free and Reduced Cost Software: The University has many software packages available via the UW-IT’s UWare program. Examples include: Adobe Creative Cloud, SPSS, MS Office.
AV / Media Checkout Update: This service was suspended in March given COVID-19 and loan periods for existing checked out items have been extended (and may be extended to future quarters based on phase and safety considerations).
Other Internet / Computing Options: Additional resources for computing and Internet needs can be found at:
