We enforce a strict policy regarding children's safety and do not knowingly collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) from children or any other users. To ensure a frictionless and private experience, the App does not require registration, login, profile creation, or email addresses to function. Furthermore, the App is ad-free and safe, meaning it contains no advertising networks or trackers that profile users or collect user behavior for targeting purposes.
2. Information We Collect and Process
The App is built on a "Privacy by Design" model. We only process the absolute minimum data required to deliver the core story-generation service:
A. User Input Parameters (Non-Personal Data)
To generate a bedtime story, the App asks the user to provide non-personal inputs, which include a character choice (such as "Sleeping Dragon" or "Princess"), a story theme (such as "Ocean Adventures" or "Space Travel"), and a preferred language (such as "English" or "Spanish"). These inputs are non-personal and are used solely to construct a prompt for the AI to write a customized story and suggest a corresponding illustration.
B. Device Feature Usage (Local Only)
Regarding Text-to-Speech (TTS) functionality, the App uses your device's native text-to-speech capability to read stories aloud. This process is performed entirely locally on your device, and we do not record, capture, or transmit any voice or audio data.
3. Third-Party Services
To generate stories and illustrations on-the-fly, our secure backend API communicates with external providers without sending any personal information.
Specifically, we use the Google Gemini API (Generative Language Service) to generate the text of the bedtime stories based on your selected character, theme, and language. Only these parameters are transmitted to the API, and no IP addresses or identifying details are shared with Google's generation endpoint. Additionally, we use Pollinations AI for image generation to provide custom children's book illustrations corresponding to the story's theme. The data transmitted to this service is limited to keywords representing the character and theme (e.g., `sleeping-dragon-in-space`), and no personal data is sent. 4. Data Security
We prioritize the security of the communication between the App and our backend servers.
To ensure secure communication, all story generation requests are encrypted client-side using hybrid RSA + AES-ECB encryption before being transmitted to our backend API, preventing any interception or eavesdropping of the user's selected story topics. Furthermore, our servers process the story generation requests entirely in memory to return the generated story; we do not log, save, or store any prompts or stories in any persistent database.
5. Your Rights and Data Deletion
Since we do not collect, store, or track any personal data, device identifiers, or IP addresses, we do not have any user data to view, edit, delete, or export. You can uninstall the App at any time, which deletes all local application cache files from your device.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
