Welcome to my website.

I am a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) during the 2026–2027 academic year, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Balıkesir University.

I received my PhD and MA in Psychology from Abant Izzet Baysal University in 2018 and 2014, respectively. My doctoral research examined how the characteristics of paintings influence creative thinking, while my master's research focused on the relationship between music, emotion, and creativity.
