Things your child will bring to school:

• Please send your child to school with a small blanket & stuffed animal (optional and must fit in a school bag). These will both stay in school weekly, and be sent home every Friday.

• Water bottle, lunch box, un-refridgerated snack packed outside of lunchbox, CARES snack (packed separately and labeled CARES). 

• Change of clothes: socks, 2 pairs of underwear, T-shirt and pants (does not have to be a school uniform). Please have the clothes labeled in a gallon ziplock bag.

• Please return their green folder daily, it is our form of communication. They will be sent home every Friday. 

• Your child will have a name tag lanyard that they will wear to school for the first week. Please make sure they are sent in wearing them! :)

Lunches and Snacks:

• No nuts.

• No sharing food. 

• No birthday treats, we will make sure to make their day special!

• Please make sure all food items are cut into small pieces. Be aware of choking hazards!

• Snacks and CARES snacks are not refrigerated, please make sure no fruit or yogurt. Please place their snack in a labeled bag along with CARES snack (if scheduled). 

Communication:

• Green folders will be sent home every Friday filled with activities/projects that we have done that week. Important reminders/paperwork will be sent home through these folders as well! 

• Any last minute changes to how your child is going home or important information that happens during the school day, please email. If you do not receive a confirmation email back, please call the main office. 610-696-1000.

Class Dojo:

• Class Dojo is a school platform that only the teacher and parents of the students are a part of. This is a communication system that I will use daily that will include pictures of our classroom (if signed off yes), along with activities and our daily procedures! 

• Class Dojo is a platform for you to reach out to me other than email, I will be checking it daily! 

Supplies needed for PreK 3 students - 

• SSPP SCHOOL GYM UNIFORM: All PreK boys and girls will wear the school GYM uniform everyday. There will be opportunities for dressing up throughout the year. The gym uniform consists of:

• • Ash grey gym short sleeve t-shirt with logo

  • Ash grey long sleeve t-shirt with logo (optional)

  • Hunter green micro mesh nylon gym shorts with logo (Fall/Spring only)

  • Oxford sweatshirt with logo (optional)

  • Hunter green sweatpants with logo

  • Velcro Sneakers required

( We will have different dress up days throughout the year where your child will be able to wear their favorite and/or special outfits. See the school website for ordering information at Flynn O'Hara. )

• BACKPACK: Large enough to hold a lunch box, water bottle, school folder (we will provide you with this), small blanket and extra set of clothes.

• LUNCHBOX: Should be able to fit INSIDE backpack and a LEAKPROOF water bottle.

• SMALL BLANKET: Used for quiet time, must be able to fit INSIDE backpack. It will stay in the classroom and will be periodically sent home to be washed.
