Bilal ibn Rabah al-Habashi, a freed Abyssinian slave and early convert to Islam, was chosen to give the call to prayer because of his beautiful voice. The same words from that 7th-century dream are still recited today, with some phrases repeated:

KARACHI: It is 10pm. In the silence of the night when you cannot even hear the sound of traffic anywhere, there are the beautiful voices giving the call for prayer. Men, young and old, and even children are on their rooftops and balconies reciting the Azan.

He asked Zaid to teach the words of Adhan to Bilal (May Allah be pleased with him), who then stood up and called the Adhan. That was the first time in the history of Islam that the Adhan was called out.The beautiful voice of Hadhrat Bilal (May Allah be pleased with him) echoed all over the city of Medina.and people were amazed to listen to such a wonderful call for prayer. They came running to Masjid -e- Nabawi to offer Salah. How very delighted they all were!

"When you hear a beautiful voice, it connects the soul to the divine in a way that words sometimes cannot do," says Jihad Turk, a friend of Ben Youcef's and president of Bayan Claremont, an Islamic graduate school in Southern California.

The person who calls out the azan is the muezzin. In Islamic history, the first person who was given the honour of calling out the azan was not a rich and renowned Arab but a poor black African named Bilal. The slave of a rich pagan household, he had secretly embraced Islam. As his masters horribly tortured him for becoming a Muslim, Abu Bakar, a Companion of the Prophet, bought the tortured slave and set him free. He became one of the staunchest followers of Islam, and the Prophet picked him to be the first muezzin in Islam. Any Muslim with a clear and strong voice can be the muezzin. Even a young boy can call out the azan if he has been trained to do it.

In olden times, the muezzin projected his voice while standing from a high level or from the minaret of the mosque. In modern times, the muezzin calls the azan over the public address system of the mosque. In Muslim countries, the azan is also broadcast and telecast like in Malaysia. In Singapore, it can be heard over the Malay radio section of MediaCorp.

Obviously if Azan recited in a beautiful voice would seem more striking to listen. However, Azan is not a song for which muezzins should get trained with latest voice modulation or controlled bass treble.

In the early 1930s, Kazan and his wife moved into an 1885 farmhouse in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, where they raised their four children. They continued to use the property as a summer and weekend retreat until 1998 when the property was put up for sale.[63]

I'm drawn to exciting, high-concept and commercial young adult novels that keep me reading chapter after chapter until I'm all done and craving more, as well as unique literary works. I'm specifically searching for contemporary fiction, thrillers and mysteries with satisfying twists, historical fiction, fantasy, and magical realism, but I would especially love to find a smart space opera or grounded science fiction project in the vein of INTERSTELLAR and ARRIVAL. Above all, I'm drawn to young adult novels with a strong voice, masterful writing, beautiful world-building with a vivid setting, and complex characters that are truly unforgettable. A few of my all-time favorite books include the CONFESSIONS OF GEORGIA NICOLSON series by Louise Rennison, ONE OF US IS LYING by Karen M. McManus, THE LAST TIME WE SAY GOODBYE by Cynthia Hand, SINCE YOU'VE BEEN GONE by Morgan Matson, CINDER by Marissa Meyer, the SANCTUARY series by Caryn Lix, THE WRATH & THE DAWN by Rene Ahdieh, THE WICKED DEEP by Shea Ernshaw, and LORE by Alexandra Bracken.

For indeed he has a better () voice than you. Meaning louder and stronger. It is said to mean, more beautiful and pleasing. It has also been said to mean, more far reaching. It () is the superlative of (), it has a Fata on the Noon and a short Madd (elongation). It means extent, like the word () and (), after the sound leaves. In it is evidence that whoever has the loudest voice has the most right to Adhan, because it is an announcement (of the upcoming prayer). So whoever has the most effective announcement with his voice has the most right and is most fitting (for the role). (Imam Badr al-Deen Al-Ayni, Sharh Abi Dawood).

So if we have a choice between multiple people wanting to perform the Adhan, and they all have the ability to pronounce the words correctly, then we will give preference to the one with the strongest and most beautiful voice. However, if anyone amongst them does not have the ability to pronounce the words correctly, then he must not be considered until he learns Tajweed and pronounces correctly. e24fc04721
