My research lies at the intersection of experimental and behavioral economics, with applications to energy economics and social media. I examine the determinants of residential consumption and how individual decisions can be shaped, either to advance social welfare through behavioral interventions such as nudges or to serve private interests through microtargeted advertising on social media.
My work combines laboratory and field experiments. I have conducted large-scale field studies on electricity consumption and social media behavior to gain a deeper understanding of consumer decision-making processes. I built on an interdisciplinary approach which is necessary to conduct the field experiment on these subjects.
