I chose to improve upon FGO's user interface as I am a long time player of the game and therefore am most familiar with it. I also would be able to truly understand the player base as I too have been through their experiences, making it easier to pinpoint the root of the issue and thereby solve it.
FGO is a turn-based role-playing mobile gacha game where the player is humanity’s last Master, a mage who has the ability to summon Heroic Spirits (beings who have carved their names into history), on a mission to save humanity from extinction.
Before adding in the exact numbers
After adding in the exact numbers
FGO has long had the problem of not showing the player statistics which impacts gameplay as statistics such as health and gauge are highly important for clearing quests. Without knowing exactly how much these statistics will change when skills are used, the player either has to externally source the exact numbers or hope for the best. The lack of in-game statistics also causes the issue of players not knowing how much in-game resources they need to invest into unless they externally source for the numbers. Since in-game resources takes time to gather, players would rather not use these resources unnecessarily.
Therefore when improving upon FGO's user experience, I added the exact numbers into the game itself so that player do not need to exit the game and find the numbers on the internet.

Players can click on the enemy's profile to view their alignment and other information
FGO has alignments on top of classes, and although alignments are not as useful as classes, there are certain fights that are made easier by simply knowing the enemy's alignment. Once again, in order to know the enemy's alignment, players have to scour the internet.
Therefore when improving upon FGO's user experience, I added the enemy's alignments into the game itself so that player do not need to exit the game and find it on the internet.
