I am currently pursuing a PhD in Legal Studies (European and International Law curriculum), at Bocconi University, focusing on the interplay between criminal procedure and data protection.
In October 2020, I graduated summa cum laude (110/110) from Alma Mater Studiorum—Università di Bologna, with a thesis in Fundamental Rights titled The Evolution of the Concept of Jurisdiction in the ECtHR's Case-Law, under the supervision of Prof. Luca Mezzetti.
In June 2023, I graduated cum laude from College of Europe (European Legal Studies Department). As part of the LL.M. program, I wrote a thesis in European criminal law titled Could the Italian high-security confinement under 41-bis constitute an obstacle to the efficient functioning of the European Arrest Warrant? under the supervision of Prof. J.A.E. Vervaele.
In October 2023, I passed the Italian Bar Exam.
My other research interests include prison law, judicial cooperation in criminal matters, and the protection of procedural rights in administrative punitive proceedings.
