Data Collection
Beatboxx is a privacy-first application. All audio recordings, tags, metadata, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device using secure local storage. We do not collect, access, transmit, or store any personal information, recordings, or usage data on external servers or cloud services.
Local Storage
All recordings, tags, routines, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using secure device storage. Your data remains private and under your control.
Permissions
This app requires the following permissions:
Microphone access - exclusively for recording audio when you press the record button.
Storage access - only for saving and managing your recordings on your device.
File access - for importing/exporting recordings when you explicitly choose to do so.
No permissions are used for tracking, analytics, or any purpose beyond the core audio recording functionality.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or transmit your recordings, personal information, or usage data to any third parties, advertisers, or analytics services. All audio processing, waveform generation, and data management happens entirely on your device. Your recordings never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share them.
Export & Backup
When you use the export or backup features, you control where your data is saved and shared. These features create local files that you can manage as you see fit.
Data Deletion
You can delete individual recordings or clear all app data at any time through the app interface or your device settings. Deleted recordings are permanently removed from your device.
Third-Party Services
This app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting services. No SDKs or frameworks that collect user data are included. The app operates completely offline and independently.
Children's Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is designed for general use and does not target children specifically. No personal information is collected from users of any age.
