Bears Uncorked Wine App
This is app was designed to assist in
Entry of information during events and
Communication of information regarding upcoming and past events.
After an event has taken place, photos of all of the wine bottles will be availble. The tope 3 entries will be noted.
Unfortunately, this app is only available for iOS devices
Hopefully, this will prove to be useful. It is able to be modified and update, so feedback is appreciated!

LoadingScreen
This screen is shown while the wind event data is loaded. If it persists, quitting the application and reloading may be effective.
The App screens and descriptions are as follows:
OPENING SCREEN
Select 'NEW USER' if you do not have an account otheriwse, 'RETURNING USER' to login.
LOGIN
Drop down list is for convenience. You can always login by typing your user name and password in.
The New User screen looks the same without the drop down convenience option.
When inputing a new user, the password must be 6 characters long and the email address should be properly formatted. Note - the email doesnt have to be your actual email if you dont want it to.
OPENING SCREEN
After login, the screen will confirm login successful and then open to CURRENT EVENTS.
This screen lists all of the wine events by date and title.
The bottom of the screen shows tab options - these are addressed below.
Click on an event to open it. This will allow you to rate the wine bottles in that event, Once an event has occurred it can no longer be edited. Until the event is completed however, you can return to it and make any modifications.
CURRENT EVENT: Actual Event
Top shows evet name and date
Bottle: Wine Bottle number
Score (screen to follow) : Rated 1-10
TOP: TOP 3 (screen to follow)
ENTER SCORE
Enter score from 1-10. Once clicked, you will automatically be brought back to the previous screen.
Numbers offset slightly on the left for ease of entry with one hand (for left handers - can have right side option in future)
ENTER TOP 3
Selecting the relevant orange circle will call up a row of options from 0 to 3
'0' will cancel out a previous rating
1-3 will enter the rating and revert any existing rating of the same value to '0'
EVENT SUMMARY: Actual Event
This will show the event summary for the event and date listed at the top.
Two views are available: List view is shown. This will show a list of wine bottle numbers, photos of the wine bottle, and in the left hand corner whether the bottle was a top (1-3) bottle
Clicking on the wine bottle will enlarge it to full screen and allow zooiming to see label detiails.
Grid Viedw is shown below
GRID VIEW
Shows the wine bottle numbers with the rank (1-3) that is available.
Clicking on a wine bottle number will show a full screen photo of the label. This photo is zoomable etc.
RESOURCE
Wine Folly is a reasonable website. I have incorporated it into the app for convenience.
ADMINISTRATOR SECTION
Current Events for Administrator allows for additional actions.
- Icon on the left goes to the SUMMARY screen (see below).
- Filing Cabinet icon allows the admin to close the event to further voting.
- Trash Can delete the event and all data.

SUMMARY SCREEN
This screen shows the data currently as the number pof voters each bottle got and also shows which user ranked which bottle of wine.
EVENT SUMMARY for Administrator allows for additional actions.
- Orange circles allow for entry of bottle information (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
- Camera Icon in upper right allws the admin to take a photo of the wine bottle which will then be associated with that bottle.
ADD EVENT (bottom right option on main screen)
- This allows the admin to create an event.
