Longboards make small/flat waves a lot of fun. I recommend riding it in 1-4ft waves, but I've surfed well overhead on my longboard. 

This model is designed to do a little bit of everything a longboard should do: nose ride, carve turns, and make paddling easy!

The nose is pulled in so that it cuts through water better and has less swing weight for turning. I kept the tail wide so that the tail pulls more water when you stand on the nose and makes it more stable. And the design trait is the rails. I prefer carves over pivots so the rails are 60-40 performance rails that allow better carving.
