WE LOVE OUR UC STUDENT MENTORS! 🫶
Throughout the program, mentorship is a key component of what we do: building meaningful relationships with students, so they can be prepared and successful for life beyond the high school classroom!
With Students, Mentors will cover areas, such as:
Academic Planning & Goal Setting: Good study habits and building skills for self-autonomy
College Experiences and Exposure: Life on campus, what to expect, what to do, see and learn about -- both fun and academic-wise
The College Application Process: Knowledgeable tips, expectations, financial aid assistance, helpful and supportive campus organizations, etc.
The structure of mentoring in Bearcats Academy has benefits for all people.
How can college and high school students create relationships to learn about how to approach challenges and the unknown in the road ahead?
Bearcats Academy aims to provide the environment for positive relationships that inform good choices and present a network of resources that can benefit all persons within our community.
Please see our student session meeting dates below.
Throughout the 26-27 school year, we will meet one Saturday of each month, with the exception of May.
Mentors should expect to be on UC's campus from 9 AM - 3 PM on the following dates.
With full participation, mentors can earn 10-15 hours/month with Bearcats Academy!
