I have a fixture (Vello LED330 CMY) with CMY and 3 color wheels - the first color parameter shows up in the Beam tile position on the console, the other 2 (Color 2, Color 3) show up in Color. I'd like to edit the personality to get all color parameters to show in the Color tab - but how? What determines if a parameter shows up in the Color tab or the Beam tab on the console? It seems there is only the choice of Position, or Beam on the left side icon when editing.

This study assessed change in self-reported Big Five personality traits. We conducted a coordinated integrative data analysis using data from 16 longitudinal samples, comprising a total sample of over 60 000 participants. We coordinated models across multiple datasets and fit identical multi-level growth models to assess and compare the extent of trait change over time. Quadratic change was assessed in a subset of samples with four or more measurement occasions. Across studies, the linear trajectory models revealed declines in conscientiousness, extraversion, and openness. Non-linear models suggested late-life increases in neuroticism. Meta-analytic summaries indicated that the fixed effects of personality change are somewhat heterogeneous and that the variability in trait change is partially explained by sample age, country of origin, and personality measurement method. We also found mixed evidence for predictors of change, specifically for sex and baseline age. This study demonstrates the importance of coordinated conceptual replications for accelerating the accumulation of robust and reliable findings in the lifespan developmental psychological sciences.

Personality disorders are a class of mental health conditions marked by certain patterns of behavior, thinking, and mood. People who have personality disorders may experience distorted perceptions of reality and unusual emotional responses, which may cause distress in multiple areas of their lives.

But genetics are not the only cause of personality disorders. Instead, genetics interact with environmental factors to increase or decrease the risk. Some people who have no known family history of personality disorders still develop them, and some people who have a genetic tendency toward personality disorders never develop one.

According to a 2016 survey of more than 1 million adults in China, people with personality disorders are more likely to be younger, unmarried, and male and to have lower socioeconomic status. These results suggest an environmental influence on the cause of these disorders.

Understanding the risk factors associated with personality disorders is essential for recognizing and preventing these conditions. Research suggests links between genetic, social, and environmental factors, although further studies are necessary to learn more.

The World Health Organization estimates that 6.1% of the population has a personality disorder. This number increases to 30% among people with other mental health conditions and rises to a higher number among people who are incarcerated.

Ultimately, the question of whether personality disorders are genetic identifies the need for a comprehensive understanding of the complex nature of these conditions to provide effective diagnosis, treatment, and support.

Generally, my work addresses the biological and environmental mechanisms that explain differences in cognitive and psychological development across the lifespan. Development is a life-long process that consists of the accumulation of experiences that shape age-graded gains and losses. The broad question that guides my research is: How do social experiences earlier in the lifespan contribute to age-related development of cognitive functioning, personality change, and the onset of psychopathology?

A total of 101 university students completed the full NEO-PI-R (Costa & McCrae, 1992), assessing the five super-traits (domains) and 30 primary traits (facets), followed by four different cognitive ability tests. Two months later (before receiving feedback on their psychometric scores), they had estimated their own scores on all these variables (personality traits and ability tests), as well as that of a known friend. Results at the Big Five super-factor (domain) level indicated that participants could significantly predict/estimate all their own big five scores, particularly Neuroticism (r = .60). Correlations between estimates of their own intelligence scores and test-derived scores ranged from r = .51 to r = .59. They were, as predicted, much less successful in predicting their friend's scores. At the primary factor (facet) level, participants seemed best at predicting their six Neuroticism scores and less good predicting their six Agreeableness scores. A series of regressions looked at the extent to which self-estimated versus actual (test-derived) Big Five trait scores predicted self-estimated and actual intelligence on each of the four test scores. Self-estimated Conscientiousness significantly predicted various intelligence scores. Stable Open Introverts tended to give themselves higher self-estimates. The possible origins of academic hubris and humility are discussed.

After statistically controlling for the demographic variables, the hierarchical regression analyses suggested that personality (inclusion, control, openness) as determined by the FIRO Element B explained statistically significant job rating variance in each of the three regression models. Thus, job applicant personality influenced the attraction of the participants to simulated managerial jobs.
