Meet Tyra! Tyra is the founder of Beads2Cure. She began this initiative in December 2019 after having an inspiring conversation about the impact that the Cayman Islands Cancer Society has on the community. Tyra was moved and wanted to help make a difference. She began selling her handcrafted bracelets during weekends and school events. Tyra continued to expand her organization to get other students involved and now has a club of over 70 members. As of April 2025, the Beads2Cure members have raised over $44,000 KYD for the Cayman Islands Cancer Society. Tyra is now at the University of Calgary, but has passed Beads2Cure on to 3 

Meet Oli! Oli is our Meetings Manager. He hosts our weekly meetings Monday after school at CIS. Oli and the club members will be making and designing our lovely bracelets. He is an approachable, thoughtful, and organized individual. If you have any questions about the Beads2Cure club, feel free to reach out to Oli!

Meet Lauren! Lauren is the  Beads2Cure Social Media Manager and Finance Officer. Lauren posts all the information you need to know about our upcoming events and the successes of our fundraisers. She also orders all of ur beads and monitors funds from our sponsors. She is in charge of donating all of the money we raise for the Cayman Islands Cancer Society through our bracelet sales. Her passion, skills, and creativity make her the perfect person for this role. Yay, Lauren! 

Meet Madison! Madison is the Fundraiser Coordinator and Manager. She plans and organizes all of our fundraisers around the island. Madison is the friendly and welcoming face that you will see at all our events. She is extremely knowledgeable about our bracelets and is ready to help you find the bracelet you love! 

Beads2Cure has many dedicated members that constantly work hard to make a difference. Our volunteers spend countless hours constructing our bracelets and selling them at our fundraisers!
