What is the BTA Benefit Trust?
A benefit trust in a teacher's union is a special fund set up to manage and provide extra benefits to union members. For example, our BTA benefit trust offers vision, dental, and legal coverage. It’s funded through contributions negotiated in your union contract and managed for the benefit of members like you. You are provided this coverage without any additional money taken from your paycheck. If you are a BTA member, you are covered.
