Schools begin by completing an online application and submitting essential documentation:

• School mission and governance details.

• Curriculum overview and operational policies.

• Financial sustainability plans.

• Application fee payment. $250 ($200 is applied toward the accreditation total cost. 

Accreditation requires schools to conduct a self-study using our Accreditation Self-Study Guide and submit supporting documents such as:

• Assessment methods and student portfolios.

• Safety policies and operational readiness documentation.

• Community engagement strategies.

Once documentation is reviewed, schools undergo a site visit, including:

• Classroom Observations – Reviewing instructional quality and student engagement.

• Interviews – Discussions with school leaders, educators, parents, and students.

• Operational Review – Assessment of safety measures and school policies.

• Technology & Facilities Review – Evaluating learning spaces and resources.

Following the site visit, our accreditation committee assesses findings and determines the school’s accreditation status:

• Provisional Accreditation (1year) – Schools meet foundational standards but require further development.

• Full Accreditation (3 years) – Schools meet all accreditation criteria and demonstrate operational stability.

• Distinction Accreditation (5 years) – Schools exceeding standards receive recognition as an Exemplar School.

Schools receive a formal accreditation report outlining strengths, recommendations, and next steps.

Accreditation is an ongoing commitment to excellence. Schools benefit from:

• Annual Check-Ins – Schools submit progress updates and operational changes.

• Professional Development & Support – Access to webinars, workshops, and educational resources.

• Renewal Process – Schools seeking to maintain accreditation undergo a streamlined renewal evaluation every 3 to 5 years.
