The CPIT is a joint undertaking of the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Better Access and Connectivity (BEACON) Project and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) to help increase the number of skilled cybersecurity professionals in the country.
It is a webinar series that consists of monthly introductory trainings, short courses, or seminars that aim to enhance the knowledge and skills of participants on various cybersecurity topics and domains. The selected topics are easy to understand and relate to real-world use cases, making them practical for implementation.
Government participants will receive a certificate of completion for each training completed.
The CPIT is open to all, focusing on government personnel from national agencies, regional offices, and local government units.
The CPIT is completely FREE, and may include training materials.
We envision a diverse and inclusive cybersecurity workforce. Women, Persons With Disabilities (PWD), people with diverse sexual orientations, gender identity, gender expression, sex characteristics (SOGIESC), and minorities are encouraged to join.
Step 1: Register for the training
Registration link / QR code, and webinar topic are sent through email prior to the training.
(Note: if you signed up for ECC you'll also be included in the roster)
Step 2: Training Proper
The training will be held online or hybrid for four (4) hours.
Step 3: Completion and Submission
Participants are encouraged to complete the pre- and post-assessment survey at the end of the training to qualify for a certificate of completion.
