Copa Feminina 2022 was a hit as the competition cosisted of 8 women's teams which included 1 team coming from Europe. We are very excited with the outcome of the event as we are seeking for the next even in 2023

The BSLA ladies did it once again, but this time, they were crowned the Champions of the Beach Soccer USA Championship, one of the biggest competitions in the world and known for hosting some of the biggest names.
After losing their first match 5-2 to the tournament favorites Shoreline BSC, the BSLA ladies went undefeated for the remaining of the event where they met Shoreline in the final and in which they turned the tables around to win 4-0.
Kelly Garzon was named the MVP while Emily Woodworth took home the Golden Glove.

It's every player and coach's dream to be on the big stage. El Salvador is known for beach soccer and they have one of the best leagues in the world. 3 of the BSLA ladies and the coach took the honors to represent two teams within the league. Kelly Garzon, Brian Easler, and the infamous favorite Fatima Herrera represented the University of El Salvador while Monique Reventlow took charge of playing for Barra de Santiago.
Both teams just happened to be playing each other where Fatima put in 2 goals on her former club while Monique scored a hat trick on her debut which took the El Salvador media for a week.

The Beach Soccer LA ladies traveled down to the Yucatan to compete in the annual Copa Mundial. The ladies had a battle on the final as they were taken all the way to extra time where the Miami's very own Nikki Haimes puts the final goal away with just seconds left within the match.
Christi Yount receives the Golden Glove award while Rebecca Staylor and Nikki Haimes both were tied for Golden Toe with 7 goals.

We are proud to announce that we will be starting up our Beach Soccer Referee department. We feel that if we want to improve the overall game, then we need to assist our referees to gain the knowledge and experience on and off the field. For anyone that is interested in being a part of our referee department then please sign up!
2.19.22After 20 hours, we are proud to announce our final participants to the first ever Beach Soccer Coaching and Referee course. Over the last weeks, we had participants from 18 different countries. The most unique thing about this course is that we had coaches engaging with the referee side of the game and vice versa! We sure hope to host more courses like this. Stay tuned for what we have coming next!
This course will leave everyone with a lot of knowledge to step back to the field to apply while further expanding the sport that we love. We are confident to say that these participants will do us proud for their upcoming competitions.

We are proud to announce that we will be hosting the first ever online Beach Soccer Coaching and Referee Course. With all of the hard work coming into play. Both FIFA and US Soccer saw the positive side of this course and they wanted to support the Beach Soccer LA team on this course to help more coaches and referees receive higher education about Beach Soccer. This course will be begin on January 25th will will end on February 19th.

We are planning to have a Men's and Women's division and our mission is to make leagues year round to provide opportunity for players to compete and increase the quality of the sport. We might as well start off by saying that this was one of the best women's beach soccer tournaments to ever come to the USA. The tournament consisted of 5 teams after the 6th team from Mexico City had to drop out the a few hours before due to governmental and covid restrictions. However, everything turned out for the best as nearly every match was as competitive as they can be. Most importantly, the final was by far one of the most thrilling finals to happen in the women's games as BSLA look a 2-0 lead up until the third period and then Norcal tied the game 2-2. Soon after BSLA took the lead again making it 3-2 and then people started thinking that the game was over up until Norcal decided to tie it up 3-3 with seconds left in the game. As the players began to tire out and not have much left in their legs. Goalkeeper Melissa Lowder from BSLA took the matters into her own feet and dropped a heavy bomb from the back and ended up hitting the back post in which that surely sealed the deal for the final where BSLA won 4-3. This tournament was more than everyone can export for and we are assuring that we will host this cup every November to provide extra opportunity during the winter season.
The Beach Soccer Los Angeles women's team took a 4 day tour around El Salvador. The trip consist of playing in 4 different location, University of El Salvador, Apulo, Costa del Sol, and Barra de Santiago. Within the 4 day tour, BSLA compete in 6 matches in which the ladies took home all 6 victories. Things did not come easy on day two as the ladies dropped down 6-1 with only 12 minutes left and battled back to win 7-6. With with all of the news outlets telling everyone that they should not be going to El Salvador. It is safe to say that this was bar far one of the most amazing trips that could have ever happened. Expect the women's team to take another tour to the country within the 2022 calendar year.

The ladies of Beach Soccer LA most definitely put on a show for the crowd, while they are very talented players with a big future coming within the sport. It was only fair them to struggle a bit to get the learning experience that they needed to understand what the atmosphere is like. Expect to see much more from these ladies as they continue to push being the best players that they can possibly be within the United States.

After a long 8 month training camp, the Beach Soccer LA Women's team will be heading over to Virginia to compete in the North American Sand Soccer Championships on July 12th -13th. We are excited to see the ladies showcase their talent. All games will be streamed live through the Beach Soccer LA Facebook channel, be sure to like and follow the page to stay up to date on the game streams.

There is no better way to kick off 2021 calendar year than having a Women's Beach Soccer camp. It's awesome to see all of the interest in Southern California. With the women's league coming up, we thought this would be the best opportunity for the ladies that will be competing and the ones that are looking to get involved with the sport.
We are grateful for all of that ladies that are experienced on the sand that helps out the new faces and we believe that this is one of the ways that more players will get involved with the sport that we love.

The long awaited Women's Beach Soccer league is soon to be here, yes, we said it! The very first Women's Beach Soccer league. So what does this mean? There will be more opportunities of the teams and players to train, improve, and get more game time. We are on a mission to grow this sport and there is no other way to do this by offering competitive opportunities to the ladies.

We are happy to see the interest in women's Beach Soccer. As this sport is still very young all around the world. The USA has grown dramatically over the last year. With the introduction of the USA Women's National Team in 2019, it brought the interest and promotion of women's Beach Soccer. Now, we have a motivate for the ladies to train on a regular basis. Within this specific Beach Soccer camp, we had 15 players coming out within the two days to get a full on experience on what we believe would benefit them not only as a better Beach Soccer, but as an overall soccer player.

On Sunday July 19th, Beach Soccer LA held friendly games that consisting of 4 teams. Most of the players from the teams have not competed since the December tournament that was held in San Diego.
For some of the players, this was their first ever Beach Soccer competition. While Legacy Beach Soccer showing up with 2 teams and Castaways being the 4th team, they came in with a great amount of experience and put on an exceptional show, however for Los Angeles the lack of team chemistry and experience caught up to them, but they are very much eager to improve.

As everyone says, in order to grow the sport, you need to get the youth involved. Over the last 4 years we have had the honor to train many young talent players. Now, we are happy to say that we started our first Youth Beach Soccer School. It's amazing to see these players to improve as an overall soccer player while learning the game that we love. Over the last month and a half, these players have been struggling to adjust their body to the sand, not to mention the long layoff due to Covid19, but now we can say that these players know how to flick the ball, move down the field on their thighs, and also understanding the fundamentals of the game. We are a long ways away before these players will love this game, but we are excited to know that they are enjoying the game.

Rostering 20 players, our men's team officially kicked off their first training together. Due to the limited competition opportunities we are facing because of COVID-19, we have been scheduling many friendly games until the end of the year. Over the last five years, growing the Beach Soccer Community in LA has been a priority. Therefore, believe that now is a great time to expand as a club and organization. We have the pleasure in welcoming new players that have automatically made a huge difference in the environment and overall energy to the club. Our goal for the next month is to improve our fitness, team chemistry, and knowledge of the game. As an organization we look forward to making an impact on the City of Los Angeles.
