My personality and my professionalism developed as I worked with them. They were my students, but they also were my teachers, as they influenced my view of life. I became more sensitive to the feelings of people, I started understanding and accepting them as they are. My students are very creative people, you can see their projects here.
Collaboration with colleagues also greatly influences to my worldview. Mr. Selwyn Jacobs is one of those people who can inspire ideas. We went through topics related to gene mechanisms and decided to ask students to project work aimed at revealing the problem of HIV. They did an amazing job, you can see it here.
My colleagues help me to develop as a professional. For example, communication with international colleagues has a significant impact on improving my language skills and competencies.
In my work, I am interested not only in teaching, but also in exploring the teaching process, besides this, I am inspired by the idea of helping colleagues.
In my work trying to solve a problem, I always ask colleagues for their opinion on the problem. And gradually this develops in action research.
Over the past few years, my colleagues and I have been working on the problems of developing student research skills through the use of descriptors, as well as increasing the effectiveness of workshops through analysis of the work performed by participants.
Also, we are working on the development of the research skills of teachers by involving our own practice in the research. And the fourth direction is aimed at helping trainees, that is, future teachers, through the pyramidal model of team teaching.
