Introducing the Bronx Documentary Center's inaugural issue of 'BDC Focus', produced by the BDC Youth Photo League students and teachers. This issue features a two-month investigation by BJPL students into NYCHA energy waste, revealing that lights stay on all day in several Bronx NYCHA buildings, wasting $82,804 in tax dollars annually. The students interviewed residents, Bronx Council for Environmental Quality members, and the Environmental Policy Director at NYPIRG.
