No excessive profanity, no explicit sexual themes, no depictions of graphic violence. Any lyric changes must be passed by the BCTFest staff. Please refer to our "Do Not Sing" List for prohibited songs.

Generally speaking, any song from a musical will work, regardless of whether or not it has had a staging. Concept albums (EPIC, The Violet Hour, STARRY, etc.) and musical movies (La La Land, The Greatest Showman, etc.) are on the table. Just submit your form, and if there is an issue with one of your songs, we will notify you as quick as possible. 

It allows us to see the diversity of songs for the event. It also gives us more options if there are "repeats" of a song.

To clarify, you will NOT be singing four different songs at the event. Pick the one you feel the most passionate about, record it, and submit it to us!

The songs will be on a "first come, first serve" basis. If two people submit the same song in their video, the person who submitted later will be asked to pick a different song.

We encourage you to submit a video as soon as possible so we can notify you as soon as possible. 

Yes! Only one form/video needs to be submitted. Please write every participant and their emails in the "name" + "email" sections of the form respectively. The submission should be recorded with everyone in your song.

In recording your video, please pick a section of the song where you ALL are singing. The video length can be shorter (45-60 seconds) if an appropriate cut is not found. We just want to hear how everyone sounds together.

NO! With limited spots available and it being a COUNTY-WIDE event, you can only be part of one solo OR one group number. Not both. We want to give as many people the opportunity to join us.

Once again, we suggest choosing the song you feel the most passionate about.

BCTFest is a musical theatre festival stationed in Beaver County that celebrates the high schoolers who perform in musicals around the county. See our about page for a better history on the event.

NOTHING! BCTFest is a free event.

We have given this a rating of PG (Ages 8+). Please note that there will be light swearing in some songs.

BCTFest will be around 2 hours long (6pm-8pm) with NO intermission.

Currently unknown! There are plenty of shops around New Brighton that would love your business though!

On-street parking is available.

There are benches placed around the venue. We still suggest that you bring your own seating (folding lawn chairs and the like) for the best overall experience.
